Consumer terms of sale.
These terms apply to every order placed in the LSF store. They implement the consumer protections every EU buyer is entitled to — the EU Consumer Rights Directive, the Sale of Goods Directive, and Greek consumer-protection law — and set out the practical bits (delivery, returns, VAT, complaints).
1. Trader
2. Pre-contractual information
Each product page lists the main characteristics of the goods, the total price including taxes and all additional charges (shipping, handling, any surcharges) or the means by which those are calculated before you confirm the order. By clicking Pay at checkout you acknowledge an obligation to pay.
3. Contract formation
The contract is concluded when you receive our order confirmation by email. We store the order record internally; we do not publish it. Contract language is English; Greek is also available on request.
4. Price and VAT
All prices are displayed including Greek VAT at 24%, the standard rate under L.2859/2000. Intra-EU customers who provide a valid EU VAT number at checkout may be invoiced under the reverse-charge mechanism; the UI will calculate this automatically. Non-EU deliveries are zero-rated on export; you may be liable for import duties and taxes in your country of receipt.
5. Delivery
We ship from Athens. Indicative times after we dispatch:
- Greece — 2–4 working days
- Rest of EU — 3–5 working days
- Worldwide — 7–14 working days
Under Art. 18 of Directive 2011/83/EU we must deliver within 30 days of contract formation unless a different date is agreed. If we fail to deliver, you may request delivery within an additional reasonable period; if that also fails, you may terminate and we refund without undue delay.
6. Right of withdrawal (14 days)
Under Articles 9–16 of Directive 2011/83/EU you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day you (or a third party indicated by you, other than the carrier) acquire physical possession of the goods.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, inform us by a clear statement (email to info@libre.space or by using the model form in Section 10 below). To meet the deadline it is sufficient for you to send your communication before the 14 days expire.
Effects of withdrawal. We will refund all payments received, including the standard cost of delivery, using the same means of payment you used, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of return, whichever is earlier. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
7. Exceptions to withdrawal (Art. 16)
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Goods made to consumer specifications or clearly personalised.
- Sealed goods unsealed after delivery where this is unsuitable for return on health-protection / hygiene grounds.
If any such item applies to a specific product, it will be flagged clearly on its product page before you order.
8. Conformity & legal guarantee
Goods supplied are subject to the legal conformity guarantee under Directive (EU) 2019/771 and Greek Law 2251/1994 as amended. The guarantee period is two years from delivery. If the goods do not conform, you are entitled — in this order — to repair or replacement, and if neither is feasible, proportionate price reduction or termination of the contract with refund.
9. Complaints & dispute resolution
Email info@libre.space and we will acknowledge within five working days and substantively respond within thirty. If you are not satisfied with our response:
- Greek Consumer Ombudsman (Συνήγορος του Καταναλωτή) — synigoroskatanaloti.gr
- EU online dispute resolution — the Commission's ODR platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr is being wound down on 20 July 2025 under Regulation (EU) 2024/3228. If you are reading this after that date and the platform is no longer the route to ADR, we will identify the successor channel on this page; our obligation to offer ADR continues regardless.
10. Model withdrawal form
Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract. Copy into an email, fill in the bracketed parts, and send to info@libre.space.
